Youth Talent Innovation (YTI) was founded in 2019 as a refugee-led organization under Kenya’s Ministry of Social Development. It was established to address the urgent need for skills development among both forcibly displaced individuals and local host communities in Kalobeyei Settlement.

Recognizing the challenges faced by refugees and host communities, (YTI) began by offering education programs focused on literacy and communication skills, particularly for illiterate women. Over time, the organization expanded to include health training initiatives aimed at promoting better healthcare practices and creating employment opportunities. Through grassroots efforts and community-driven solutions, (YTI) continues to bridge educational and economic gaps, fostering resilience and self-reliance among those it serves.
